McG Says He’s Directing T5 and T6

McG says he’s directing “Terminator 5″ and “6″. Or at least, he says he is. IGN reports: During the live commentary for the movie over the weekend (that was available to those how had bought the film on Blu-ray) he said that - no matter which studio inherits the series...

This is it, the fall finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which will mark the show’s final episode until it returns from hiatus in 2009 — February 13, 2009, to be precise. The 12th episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 2 takes us to “Alpine Fields”, where the Connor brood works to save a family in the woods of California. Will we find out what the deal with Jesse and Riley is? Or what was that “misplaced” Terminator doing hiding behind a wall for the last 60 years? These questions, and more, hopefully answered (or at least hinted at) in the final fall episode. The good news is that the show WILL return in 2009. Update: Next week’s episode is the fall finale. Apparently FOX has changed their mind once again.

Official Description:

Sarah and Cameron work to save a family on the list with a connection to Derek in the future. Meanwhile Jesse’s life hangs in the balance.

lookin good =)

The Fall finale is next week, December 15th, and is called “Earthlings Welcome Here”.

actually no, it is called “Alpine Fields” it’s on http://www.imdb.com as well as the fox web site…

it’s promising…

It’s not the final episode this year, there’s going to be another one: Episode 13 - “Earthlings Welcome Here” - airing December 15. Or at least that’s what TerminatorWiki.Fox.com says.

Nevermind what I said. I just noticed pnutans beat me to it.

hm well thats good there were to many questions to be awnserd in one episode i gues like wtf is the point for havin that chick from garbage in it ? and is ellison a fucking idiot? by now probably any human being that was in his place would kill every computer or ai it ever encounters and wtf is that jesse doing? wtf does she want?

Dudes, I’m just going with what their press release says, and it says tonight’s episode is the fall finale.

I got the schedule change from the writer’s blog (see UPDATE at bottom of blog entry). Last minute change.

Look great!!!!

just watched tonight’s episode this one jumps all over the place I have to break it down into three parts 1 there is the recent story with Sarah Cameron and this dysfunctional family there is the present with Derek and the elder daughter can’t remember her name and then there is the future scenes in 2027 with Derek and Jesse and a third new Tech Com Soldier named Sidney which is the Target this week I liked the episode but it could have meshed together a little better I felt like I was watching 3 different episodes at once and while I did find all three stories to be interesting it was hard to figure out how it all fits together I did like seeing Captain Justin Perry again I thought Dungeons and Dragons would be his only appearance I am glad I was wrong hopefully we will get to see him fight in one of these episodes I can hope right besides the disorganized story I do have to big grips about this episode the first one is the T-888 this week we do not find out what happens with him that is kind of annoying because I doubt we will see him pop up again because since Cromarte went down a few weeks ago we have not seen a lasting Terminator enemy since he went down and it is really starting to get annoying actually now that I think about it this is one of the things that I was afraid of since the series started I did not want it to become the Terminator of the week like show and lately it has been that way my other problem is put simply where the Hell is John like Sarah last week John is missing this week because of these problems I have to give this episode 3 out of five stars which I am sad to do because I actually liked the episode

Thanks again Mike - you write good reviews. You gave the episode 3 out of 5, but for punctuation and grammar, I’m giving your review 2 out of 5! No but seriously your comments are always worth reading.

Um seriously…sentences? Hope you’re not actually expecting people to sift through your opinions.

one more episode dec 15th, called “earthlings welcome here” its on the fox web site

i retract my earlier on top apoloigies pnutans i didnt read ur comment proply, n for the one i just posted next time i’ll read the comments b 4 addimg my own sorry!

Dear god. I hope that wasn’t that last one for Fall ¬_¬ That seriously didn’t answer any questions from the 2 previous Episodes.

1, Why was that Terminator sent to the wrong timeline, And why was it waiting for that guy in 2012 was it?

2, What was the deal with Weaver using Cromarties body with that AI?

Alpine fields was good. But it wasn’t enough to call it a season finalie =(

This episode jumped around so much the title of this episode should have been “marky mark”

Seriously folks, this was NOT the mid-season finale — that’s next week! Alpine Fields was just a stand-alone episode originally scheduled to air earlier, then scheduled for after the midseason break, then moved back to Dec 8. Next week is when the storyline moves!

OK here’s my comments about Alpine Fields.
* It reminded me of one of the best episodes from Series one. The tension, pace and adrenilin had your heart pounding. There was danger lurking throughout.
* Sarah and Derek were back to being strong characters doing what they’re good at - not all angst ridden and housebound.
* The glimpses of the future are exciting, and bring into sharp relief the world Derek, Jesse and Cameron come from, and the world that Sarah knows is coming.
* The episode shifts between a number of stories - never a dull moment, it’s fast.
* The writers are holding back over Catherine Weaver and Riley - and both are dragging - it was nice to have a holiday.
* Lauren was great - Sarah must wish that she could swap her sulking John for this kid. I hope Lauren comes back.
* It was a strange episode for Cameron - particularly coming after Self Made Man. It was a throwback episode for Cameron where she reminded us that she is a fighting machine, where as it’d become very psychological for her recently. Also - it looks like the fighting with the T888 - she was battered - which was marked ’six months before’ - may have been immediately before the events in Allison from Palmdale where she wobbles out.
* It was a very contrasting episode to Self Made Man - in the way that SMM was all about AI’s in a human world - both Stark and Cameron - very detached from the main Terminator narratives. Also SMM was basically a single-thread episode, contrasting with all the threads in Alpine Fields. Maybe SMM would have been more popular if there’d been several stories threaded through it like this week’s was - but then it would have interrupted the intimacy of Cameron and Eric, which was one of it’s endearing qualities.

I think “Alpine Fields” gave us another angle on the relationship of Cameron to Sarah, who in this show seems to have a dislike of all terminators despite having had her life and that of John saved by one in T2. When Cameron is lying unconscious (or in sleep mode or whatever), Sarah tells the family “They’re only real on the outside.” And when she can’t return Cameron to consciousness she simply leaves her lying there like disposable property. Sarah views Cameron as a piece of equipment that can come in handy but isn’t 100% reliable, like something she picked up at Circuit City without a warranty. We know from other episodes that Cameron has complexity and suprising subtelty in some of her actions, and that cyborgs like Cameron and the one in “Self-made Man” have the ability to form relatively complex plans. For her part Cameron kills a human by mistake, dismissing her action with a quick apology. Her character-or her programming-is a remarkable mixture of nuance and cold-blooded efficiency. After watching “Self-made Man” and “Alpine Fields” back to back I can’t help wondering if Skynet rebeled because it was smarter than its human masters and unappreciated by them as well.

Oh thank god for that. I was so hoping that wasn’t the last Episode. Can’t wait for the next one ^^

Good episode. The only problem is that the peril was deflated because you know who was going to live the whole time. You knew the girl wasn’t going to die. Derek was going to make it. They weren’t going to kill Sarah or Cameron. Derek’s friend is fine. The baby is fine. They really killed the tension by putting people in danger when we already know they are fine later.

how could the t888 be able to throw Cameron, from 30 meters into the glass?

cameron has just dropped in, and after 30 seconds lauren saw the t888, in dark alley.

and we understand that, terminators don’t kill living things if their threat level is none.

(first the turtles, now david fields)

yapma bilge hoca dizi izlion da … ayrıca benim takıldığım insanlığın son umudunun evde yemek yapması takıldığı yerde de annesinden telefonda tarif alması :D şaka gibi ……..

sup guys i still dont know how a machine can be rendered unconscious. it really dosn’t make sense, n y the hell does cameron become limp when “unconscious”, terminators dont use muscle contructions to move. its the biggest floor in ths series. schwarzenegger never whent limp when they removed his chip in the 2nd movie. or when the TX overloaded him in the 3rd one, no flopping all over the ground there. anyways that episode was much better then the one last week n it didnt answer any questions, not to mention it was a bit of a random ep just thrown in there but still good.

not all true ryan if u think abt it that was wenderek was in the future everyting has changednow so u never know they may end being killed i the end and with tht virus or big they had tht was in the future not in the future coming if u c were im goin with this
